Trouble has befallen three students of Kasese Secondary School in Kasese Municipality after their small business of conning fellow students of tuition money was bursted.

The culprits, Moris Kule 20, a Senior Six student, Herbert Bwambale 19, and Solomon Bwambale, 19 both in Senior Four had by the time of their arrest reaped money worth over 16 million Shillings.

Police observes that the three defrauded 59 fellow students, promising to help them carry their tuition fees to the Centenary Bank branch in Kasese town.

Some of the lazy students who could not carry their school fees to the bank are; Loice Masika S.4, Cosmus Mulembya S.4, Yodiki Kabugo S.4 and Amina Muhindo S.4.

These blame the suspects for approaching them in the spirit of assisting them pay fees, to avoid spending time lining up and the victims trusted the conmen since they were classmates.

The school administration would late discover that what was being reflected on the bank slips received by the school bursar was not corresponding with the amount of money on the school bank account.

Police has now summoned the head teacher, Augustine Muserero, to report with copies of bank slips which the school had received from the affected students.

The school authority has now tasked parents of the victims to clear all school fees in the next one week, or risk not sitting MOCK exams since most of them are candidates.
