The police have in custody, an 18 year old Katende Moses, the prime suspect in the murder of a six year old child in Busia.

This according to the police spokesperson Fred Enanga could lead to initial suspect Jeff Kiwanuka Alias Jeff Kiwa’s freedom.

According to the police mouth piece, Katende impersonated Jeff Kiwa using a facebook page and a phone. The police however tracked him down in Kayunga and arrested him.

Upon interrogation, he explained how he opened the page, gained a huge following and duped several followers. According to Enanga, they are awaiting the DPP’s advice to proceed.

“After we have obtained the opinion from the DPP, it’s at that stage that we shall be able to release him on bond if it calls for further inquiries or to just set him free based on the prevailing information,” Enanga told the media at Naguru today.

Jeff Kiwa is the manager of music group team no sleep.
