The police in Kabale have launched a man hunt after a jilted lover chopped off his bonkmate’s ears for alleged infidelity.
Henry Alyang, the officer in Charge of Criminal Intelligence and investigations Department at Kabale Police station identifies the suspect as Gerald Twinomujuni, a boda boda motorist and resident of Upper Bugongi cell in Kabale Municipality.
According to Alyang, Twinomujuni attacked and chopped off Diana Ninsiima’s on Saturday night after he allegedly caught her pants down with another man in their bed.
The police also explain that Twinomujuni had initially laid a trap after his friends told him that the lover was straying and serving his honeypot to other men each time he left for work.
Ninsiima, is currently admitted at Kabale Regional Referral Hospital in agony, where she told reporters that her ears are now useless, though she could not confirm the infidelity accusations.
Alyang, the OCCIID at Kabale Police station, says they are looking for Twinomujuni and he will be brought to book.
