Media personality Jacob Omutuzze has been active in the industry for over twenty years.
Whatever he says has a backing of history and is believable because he has been here long enough to see the difference.
Speaking in an interview with a local television, Jacob Omutuzze explained that the music industry is at its weakest point and has been crushed by politics.
He says the industry is now full of music wannabes, not musicians, because they lack credibility and many are talentless.
"This year, the music industry is at its weakest point. It was broken and eaten up by politics, and it's the reason we don't see music five months into the year. We have wannabes who can't do anything musically but claim to be artists," he partly said in an interview with a local television.
Jacob Omutuzze believes the music industry would have been much better without politics.
