South African record producer and DJ, Black Coffee has been announced winner of the Best International Act, Africa category at the 2016 BET Awards.
He beat competition from Diamond Platnumz, Yemi Alade, Wizkid, MzVee, AKA, Cassper Nyovest, and Serge Beynaud at an event held on Saturday at the Staples Centre in LA.
The presentation was done ahead of the main event which will take place at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, United States of America on Sunday, June 26.
The main show starts at 8 p.m. EDT and will air around the world on BET’s international network.
