Ugandan Hip Hop artist O.P.U KobokoBoy successful launched his event dubbed “TheDrinkPartySeries” under the theme of Drink4Acause on 30th sept 2016.
The rapper filled the usually empty club section of the entertainment complex with a large number of Hip Hop heads in attendance.
The rapper has been working on a social change project called “Project R.I.C” which in full is “Reading Is Cool” which is aimed at promoting the culture of reading in primary schools.
Funds raised from this event are meant to go back to the refurbishment of this school library.
The M.C of the night was Big Kahuna, performances from the Ntinda Movement, R.O.W Records, Percy Teeba, Muddy Boots, and J.C Muyonjo among others. The event was supported by HOT 100 F.M, TRIBE UG, R.O.W Records and DustVille Records.
