Few weeks ago, there was a lot of hoo-ha surrounding Eddy Yawe’s departure from Afrigo band. In an interview, he said he had quit to pursue a solo career. “Since my song Tukigale came out, I am a busy person. I get gigs after gig,” he said.
Latest news on the heels however suggests Yawe could be on the move to Golden band. He has been seen at different occasions with the band members while they are performing. Sources say he is in talks with the Golden band directors and could settle for the group.
Although Yawe said there was no bad blood between him and his former band, a source says there was a conflict of interest. Moles say Afrigo band management tried to limit his creativity but he was not willing to settle for less.
