Edward Ssebuufu alias Eddy Mutwe, a city barber and bodyguard to Kyadondo East legislator Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine was arrested in Kampala a few weeks ago and has since been in police custody.
Howwe desk understands that Eddy Mutwe has been charged with treason together with Musa Ssenyange, who is reportedly the owner of the vehicle that blocked President Museveni's convoy in Arua during by elections.
This came after a one Eron Kiiza, Eddy Mutwe's lawyer filed a habeas Corpus application that prompted Judge Justice Musa Ssekana to order security organs to produce Eddy Mutwe in courts of law because he was kept under police custody without the knowledge of his close acquaintances, relatives and close associates.
After being paraded before court, Eddy Mutwe was charged with treason and remanded to Luzira prison while the Ssebuufu was remanded to Gulu central prison and is set to appear in court on the 1st of October.
