Exposed: BET tried to Screw Up EDDY KENZO's Votes ... and Here's Why!

A first official statement released by BET Awards showed that the category in which Eddy Kenzo was nominated "Best New International Act Viewer's Choice" alongside South Africa's Cassper Nyovest, Ghana's Mzvee, London's George The Poet, Liverpool's Mic Lowry and London's Novelist, had three options for voting ... instagram, twitter and from the official BET website ... but the principal being twitter.

Ugandans united and started voting for Eddy Kenzo via twitter using the hashtag #iPickEddy ... and according to statistics, Eddy Kenzo overshadowed his competition.

While the other nominees had their fans using all the three options to vote, Ugandans were busy on twitter hastagging Kenzo. In fact, Kenzo had less than 1000 valid votes from instagram.

A few days to main event, the rules changed. BET cancelled voting via twitter and released a statement saying only votes from instagram and the official BET website were going to be counted.

Ugandans literally had to start afresh. However, this new twist projected a beam of light and Ugandans were more united than ever ... and people went crazy with the hashtag #iPickEddy on instagram, getting Kenzo far ahead of his competition.

Uganda, being a God fearing country that doesn't tolerate homosexuality, something BET is so angry about, their twist did not come as a shock to some of us.

Remember when Samuel L Jackson—while hosting the 12^th annual BET Awards in 2012 from L.A.'s Shrine Auditorium—and the BET Awards audience paused for a moment of silence in honor of the Gay that was burn't and killed in Uganda for promoting homosexuality? BET said homosexuality in Uganda deserves to be legalized for gays to have equal rights ... but nothing changed.

Could this twist have been a way to deny the award to the country that doesn't support BET's immoral culture?

All the other nominees come from countries where LGBT activity is legal. Except for Ghana where under Ghanaian criminal law, same-sex sexual activity among males is illegal but it is uncertain whether same-sex sexual activity among females is illegal.
