Nakasongola police have in custody Charles Odoki 50 year old for allegedly stubbing his ex-wife to death.
Odoki allegedly stabbed Jenny Akwero to death after suspecting her of having an affair with another man. He waylaid her last night and stabbed her on the neck.
According to Christopher Katumba the DPC Nakasongola, the incident happened at Tumba-Kamuli landing site in Nalukonge sub-county. The couple was fishmongers in Nakasongola but hailed from Mucwini Subcounty in Kitgum district.
The deceased was rushed to a nearby clinic where she succumbed to over bleeding from the neck.
Odoki and Akwero had five children together in their failed marriage. The case has been registered at Nakasongola police as investigations continue.
