Police are searching for a 28 year old man identified as Richard Musekura, for chopping off his 57-year-old father’s hands. The old man Richard Kabagambe was maimed by his son during a land fight.
Musekura was allegedly enraged when his father declined to give him a second piece of land at Mukabira village in Nyabweya Sub County, Bunyangabu district.
His brother Felix Twesigye, explains that Musekura sold his initial piece of land when he married a second wife and later started demanding for more land from his father.
The suspect is also accused of acting under the influence of intoxicants.
The victim is now admitted to Kilembe Mines Hospital after losing his two hands and according to Onesmus Kibaya the Kilembe Mines Hospital administrator says Kabagambe is out of danger but might remain incapacitated.
