“Your Music Your Voice” was initiated by Goethe-Zentrum Kampala and took place in October 2017. Hip hop musicians from six African countries and Germany were invited to Kampala to exchange with local musicians on their experience as socially engaged artists. The project comprised a workshop, symposium, concert and studio collaboration. It was supported by Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung Uganda, Goethe-Institut, Arterial Network and Music in Africa.
