City accountant, Andrew Mpanga was hit at Club Guvnor over the weekend in a manner that has been likened to a fight that ended Johnnie Ahimbisibwe’s life at the bar two years back.
Although, the management of Guvnor Club first denied that Mpanga had not been hit at the bar, the Club’s marketing manager later confirmed the incident. He said, “It is true there was a fight between Mpanga and a babe in the club but our security quickly responded.
The babe was arrested and Mpanga was taken to Jinja road police station that very night.” Rumour has been circulating that Mpanga’s life is hanging on a thin thread, but his family says he is recuperating well. “He was recently discharged from Nakasero where he had been admitted,” says a family member. Mpanga is married to Lydia Mpanga, but the babe he fought with is rumored to be his side dish.
