The sensational singers, B2C received the award for the best song of the year from Kansanga based station, Galaxy FM. Their "Gutamiza" hit emerged the best in 2017. Galaxy FM presenter, Mr. MOSH Ssendi handed over the award on behalf of the radio.
This award was intended to honour the best song that dominated the charts in 2017.
"GUTAMIZA" song dominated most music charts and stayed on top of for 10 weeks straight. It was also No.1 on the Zzina 102 Songs of the year.
This was the second time the funkiest Luganda urban youth radio station honoured the best song of the year.
Last year, singer Sheebah Karungi was awarded for her single "Nkwatako" hit that was on top of the charts for 39 weeks.
Mr. Mosh informed the listeners that the station will not stop to support Uganda Music. It will recognize more acts in the entertainment industry at the annual "Zzina Awards" slated for March this year.
Well, this looks to be just the start for the B2C singers as they have already released a single, "Wanyonoona."
