News reaching our desk indicates that the Purple Party Brand CEO, Douglas Lwanga has quit the Serena based station after his employers refused to meet his demands of salary increment.
The celebrated TV host announced through his social media channels that he will no longer be an employee of NTV.
Douglas has been hosting a popular entertainment show, "NTV DE BEAT" since joining from Record TV in 2013.
However, this has not come as a surprise as Douglas has not made any appearance on the show for the last two weeks.
Earlier last week, our snoops learnt that the management at NTV Uganda declined to renew his contract that had expired because the two parties failed to agree on the new terms.
The show is currently hosted by his former workmates Sheila Gashumba, Selector Jay, Dj Bryan and a new face, Panda crysto who has been hosting T-Nation show on the same station.
