Musician Moses Ssali alias Bebe Cool is one of the few artistes in Uganda dedicated to helping those in need.

The singer unveiled a new charity organisation named Amber Heart Foundation through which he donated 60 million shillings towards the treatment of children with heart problems.

This is part of the money he collected at his recently concluded Golden Heart concert at Kololo Airstrip.

Bebe Cool had promised to use proceeds from the show to cater for the expenses of 5 children to travel to India to receive heart surgery.

While addressing the media on Monday, Bebe Cool affirmed his commitment to facilitating more children with complicated heart problems to receive treatment in India.

"I have over the years held several charity initiatives, but I have now felt the need to consolidate all these activities under one umbrella hence the birth of The Amber Heart Foundation. Through this organisation, I will use my influence to attract more resources to help the underprivileged,” the self-proclaimed Big Size stated.

He further went on to say, "My next big concert will be titled "Tondeka Ekiwatule Omutima Gwa Zaabu" and I will also use its proceeds to facilitate treatment of five more kids in India.”

The kids will be travelling with their parents to  India on Sunday, with the first surgery expected to be conducted on Tuesday.

We shall keep you posted about the health of the children.
