Comic musician A Pass took to his social media platforms and announced his intent to stand for presidency in the forthcoming general elections after making a prior announcement of his political move a day before.
"My dream has always been to be a leader and for a very long time I have been running away from my dream, the dream of being the president of Uganda. I have now decided to focus on politics as well because my people need me, they need a president like me who cares about them, the time is now and am starting my campaign today and am serious. A serious President is needed in Uganda and I am him. #APassForPresident #GuliWano,"Apass posted on his social media platform.
Apass is one of the artistes that fully participated in a political campaign to free musician Bobi Wine from a jail, in a demonstration that was branded #FreeBobiWine.
