On Friday last week, a section of musicians convened at Jahazi Piers, Munyonyo to discuss the new entertainment regulations that have been issued by the government.

The meeting was largely attended by upcoming musicians. The popular ones who attended are; Eddy Kenzo, Lydia Jazmine, Catherine Kusasira, Geoffrey Lutaya, Ronald Mayinja, Big Eye and Roden Y.

Most of them while sharing their views, they expressed their dissatisfaction with the government and said the new laws were intended to block Bobi Wine's political growth.

"I hear about 1bn was dished out to some musicians, and promoters to push these laws. It is a political move and we appeal to government to stop making our music political. We are musicians," one musician said.
