It is a somber moment for musicians, politicians, and citizens of goodwill as they mourn the sudden passing of the famous "Tokakwabala Bala" hitmaker Adam Mulwana.

Mulwana breathed his last in the early hours of Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Doctor’s Hospital Seguku.

Mulwana had been battling illness for over three years before succumbing to it. In 2022, Mulwana, through an interview with one of the local television stations, revealed he was poisoned.

The FDC President, Erias Lukwago, described Mulwana as a humanitarian who contributed heavily to good governance through music and art.

"What sad news to wake up to!!!! Rest in peace, comrade Adam Mulwana. You will always be appreciated by humanity for your priceless contribution towards the cause for good governance through art and music. It's well with my soul, till we meet again," Lukwago's statement read.

Adam Mulwana is mostly remembered for his song "Tokakwabala Bala," which was used by Rtd. Col. Dr. Kizza Besigye in the 2016 campaigns.
