Last year, it was announced that the government would be supporting musicians with Uganda Shillings 13 billion.

It is reported that the money will be administered through Ragga Dee's National Cultural Forum, which has legal structures in place.

Now, King Michael has appealed to the National Cultural Forum to allocate the money to upcoming musicians across the country.

He believes the money should be given to upcoming musicians as loans and not to established musicians, who already have considerable resources.

"I appeal to whoever has that money to give it to the upcoming singers because they need it more than us, the established ones. They need that money to build their careers so they can reach our level," he said in an interview with a local television station.
