Let’s face facts, we all lie. If lying was the only reason to make it to heaven, we doubt any man will make it.
These are some of the common things most of us lie about.
1. Location
Whenever we receive a call, one of the most dreaded questions people ask is our location. For reasons unknown to us, many people lie to know why the question was asked in the first place.
2. Sex game
In other not to ruin the day for our partners, the majority of people lie about how good or bad sex is just to make them feel good no matter how bad it was.
3. Body count
In a relationship, anyone who pops the question, “how many men or women have you dated before me?” is definitely not going to get an honest answer because 99.9% of the time, people lie about this.
4. Famous friends
Most people want to be associated with famous people to feel important, so when asked about celebrities, most people like to lie about knowing them or growing up with them.
5. Bad Gifts
People hardly say how much they dislike a gift you give them just to maintain a good relationship and sometimes they make you feel it was the best gift they’ve ever received only to dump it when you walk away.
6. Weight
Most people don’t even know their weight but when asked, people usually lie about their actual weight.
7. Age
This is actually an African thing, it’s very hard for people to tell you their real age, usually they’ll quote a younger age so they appear young to people.
8. Lifestyle
People just hate to reveal how they live their lives to strangers and whenever the question raises its head, many people pretend to be saints when in fact we all have skeletons in our closets.
9. Traffic Offence
Of course, nobody is honest to the police officer whenever they get pulled over for a traffic offense. You just jumped the traffic and if the police officer stops you, the first thing will be, “it was green when I passed?” really!!!
10. Money in their account
Who wants people knowing how much they have in their pockets? Either they make it seem like they have more than enough or pretend they have nothing to win the sympathy of others.
