Ziza Bafana made his entry into the music scene through a group called Back 2 Life, they were considered copycats of the duo, Radio and Weasel but they managed to hang on, with five of their songs topping the charts. When the group disbanded, Ziza Bafana went solo to become one of Uganda’s best dancehall singer. In 2013, he witnessed his breakthrough with "Gyayo Ntekeyo" hit song that later became a club anthem.

This was followed by jams like "Pomini" and he then ruled 2015 and 2016 with a series of hit songs like "Akalulu", "Gulumana Asomye", "Tuli Majje"," Mavunya" among many others.

After a successful concert at Freedom City in 2016, Ziza Bafana went mute.

 Last year, he returned and released two records

" Katonda wa Ragga" and "Joker" that received ample airplay.

Many have been wondering what happened to their superstar?

When Ziza Bafana broke ties with his manager, Roger Lubega, his music went South. This was his biggest mistake ever. Most musicians whose talent is managed have limited access to media personalities and key entertainment players like deejays.Many times, it’s the manager dealing with this and so many media personalities play the music due to the close relationship with the manager.When Roger was moved out of the picture, his music was 'deleted'.

You will agree with me that Spice Diana’s career is on the fire flames after Roger taking over the management.

Drugs;

You will all agree with me that Bafana is so talented but drug abuse is another vice that prompted his fall. He spent much of his time at Mulungo landing site in Munyonyo drinking and smoking weed instead of hitting the studio. He always needed someone to guide and manage him.

What does he need to do?

 His biggest mistake was to fire a business manager and that’s what he needs to be work on. When artistes start receiving booking fee directly, they stop investing it back like shooting good videos and they prioritize other side investments.

Managers have a better balance and vision for the artistes. Ziza Bafana needs to hire a manager that is well respected and has enough knowledge to juggle the business.
