Musician Bebe Cool was recently asked what he would do if the music stopped paying, and he said his wife's business, Zuena Cakes would keep him afloat.
Music is Bebe Cool's only source of income but he might need to find other alternatives.
A large number of music promoters in Kampala have agreed not hire Bebe Cool for music shows following the Cricket Oval incident where fans pelted bottles at him on stage during his performance at the Swangz at 10 concert.
Abbey Musinguzi (Abitex), the vice president of FUPA, an association of promoters says they are not hiring Bebe Cool for the sake of his safety.
He says they'll reconsider him when the situation stabilizes.
However when Promoter Barugahara Balaam was asked on social media about his opinion on Abitex's revelation, Balaam said he would talk to Abitex first before commenting.
He further assured fans that he had talked to Bebe Cool and everything is fine now.
