Ginuwine, real name Elgin Baylor Lumpkin, will entertain Ugandan RnB and soul music lovers in up close and live concert on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Speke Resort Munyonyo.
The American singer, songwriter, dancer and actor will be performing in Uganda for the first time after the Johnnie Walker Jazz and Soul Safari was this year split into two separate events, with the jazz show preceding the Johnnie Walker Soul Safari.
Ginuwine sold millions of contemporary RnB albums over the years after becoming a household name. He was among the top RnB artistes during the late 1990s and early 2000s.
Truth to tell, there couldn`t be a grander introduction for the soul event.
Ginuwine stands out as one of the most iconic artistes of our times, an example of progress and success. He gave RnB music a sleeker, sexier feel.

It should be noted that Stanbic Bank is part of the event as the official financial partner of the Johnnie Walker Soul-RnB Safari as they are set to offer discounted tickets purchased with any Visa or Mastercard card at selected outlets including; Shell Select Bugolobi , Shell Select Lugogo Bypass, Shell Select Kira Road Bukoto, House of Walker Sheraton Hotel, Definition Acacia Mall and Game Lugogo.
Early bird tickets to the event go on sale from October 15th to November 4, and cost Shs80,000 if bought using ANY Visa or MasterCard and Shs100,000 for cash transactions. A V.I.P table goes for Shs 3,500,000. After the early bird sale expires, tickets will go for Shs120,000 on Visa or MasterCard and Shs150,000 for cash purchases.
Other partners of the Johnnie Walker Soul Safari partners include Stanbic Bank, Guvnor, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, NBS TV, Coca Cola, MTN , Schweppes, FEZAH and Speke Resort Munyonyo.
This year , the proceeds from the first Jazz Safari headed to setting up a new ICT center, complete with specialised equipment valued at £50,000 (approximately Shs 250 million) for disabled children.
