Uganda police force says it will work hand in hand with other service providers including telecom operators and UCC to search, find and arrest assailants who on Thursday March 22, kidnapped a one Charity Kyohirwe  whose body was found dumped in Nalukolongo.

Police spokesperson Emilian Kayima told they media this morning,  that Kyohirwe's body was found dumped in a banana plantation near the railway station. The body however had a national ID on it,  in other names not the late Kyohirwe.

Kayima told the media that the body was taken to Mulago hospital, and after contacting the family, it was discovered that it was indeed Kyohirwe.

The police mouth piece further explains that an unspecified amount of money (ransom) was sent by the deceased' mother and received by the kidnappers. It is the number that received it, which police hopes to track and find the owner.

Kyohirwe's case comes barely a month after that of Susan Magara's who was kidnapped and kept for three weeks before her body was found dumped on the southern by-pass in Munyonyo.  One person has since been arrested with the help of president Museveni who especially was very concerned about the case and fired the IGP and security minister for not keeping Ugandans safe.

It however remains unclear, if Kyohirwe's death will capture the President's attention like Magara's.  According to Kayima, police at Katwe are working with other specialized units to find the murderers.
