Uganda police force had applauded Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi for cooperating with them when they picked him from the airport to his home in Magere, Wakiso District.

In a statement released by the force spokesperson Emilian Kayima this afternoon, it is indicated that Bobi Wine was peacefully escorted home upon his return from the US where he had been receiving specialized treatment.

Kayima equally thanked Ugandans for not involving in any unlawful processions, especially those that had been allegedly planned by Bobi’s fans to go to the airport and cause havoc.

“We equally thank members of the public for having adhered to the set security guidelines issued yesterday. We urge people to remain calm. We call upon Hon. Kyagulanyi to fully comply with the laws of the land and terms of his bail conditions.

The police mouthpiece also denied allegations that media practitioners were arrested. He however admits that journalists were questioned in accordance with the set guidelines. “All are free going about their normal businesses,” Kayima stated.
