An excited lot of Ugandans took to social media on Thursday to claim a spy, a Uganda police officer has been planted on flights that transported Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine from the US to Kenya and then to Uganda.

ASP Pamella Kentaro’s security was compromised when several people took to social media insinuating that security had planted her to spy on Bobi Wine, several others threatened that they could get to her anytime.

Kentaro appeared in a picture with Bobi Wine on a plane from Nairobi to Uganda. Many thought it was no coincident that such a beautiful woman serving under the Uganda police force could have been traveling on the same plane without a mission.

Some even insinuated there was evidence that she had traveled with the MP from US where he has been receiving specialized medical attention for over three weeks.

However, according to a letter seen by Howwe.Biz, ASP Kentaro Pamella was sent to Mombasa for training on AML/CFT Information exchange by the police at request of the Deputy Head Anti Corruption Division of High Court, Her Lordship Margaret Tibulya.

Pamella had been attending the workshop with 4 other officers identified as D/SP Komurubuga George, D/IP Mulumba Herbert, D/IP Ogenmungu Lawrence and D/AIP Kyenda Joseph.

The workshop which according to the letter commence on September 17th, ended on Wednesday 19th and the officers returned home on Thursday, the same day as Bobi Wine.

Pamella has also cleared the air, saying she is friends with the MP.
