TV star, Straka Mwezi has again failed to pay rent mounting to 5m. Sources in Bweyogerere allege that Straka has been playing hide and seek games with her landlord.
When WBS TV collapsed, she decided to invest her savings in a bar. It is said that the bar has not been doing well the reason she failed to pay rent. Straka claims that she renovated the place and the landlord never contributed anything.
She adds that she incurred a cost of 15m so she is not ready to vacate the premises.
A few years back, Straka was caught running away at 2 am from her landlady in Bunamwaya. It was reported that she had defaulted for almost a year. She was rounded off with the truck of her belongings and forced to clear the money.
