Sheilah Gashumba's Step Father Speaks Out On Her Beating

It is public knowledge that Sheilah Gashumba is nursing wounds after being thrashed by her father, Frank Gashumba.

Sheila's step father, Mwesigye Rukutana, who is the Deputy Attorney General has said he doesn't know about the beating yet. He is distancing himself from the saga.

Rukutana is the current husband to Sheila's mother, Tinah Mukuza.

It was Tinah, who reported his ex husband to police after she was alerted, but it seems she didn't want Rukutana involved, and hasn't told him.

Rukutana once described Sheilah as her own daughter and revealed that she often visits him.
