Radio Mowzey’s legacy lives on and many people continue to celebrate him in different ways.
Musician turned politician, Bobi Wine, told Radio’s mum that he wishes that Radio's life story could be taught in schools. The children need to know about the great wordsmith that ever graced our land. His talent was exceptional.
“Radio is a hero. He should be taught in schools, but the current regime is scared that teaching about Radio will groom a generation of young people who speak up against injustices,” he said.
He also said that given power, he would declare Radio and the likes of Herman Basude as heroes of the music industry.
