Musician Bebe Cool is a big supporter of President Museveni and the NRM government but he recently joined the team of the President's first son, Muhoozi Kainerugaba.
Muhoozi openly declared his interest in taking over from his father come 2026.
Bebe Cool says he is backing Muhoozi because he believes the General is the only leader capable of fighting corruption.
“Muhoozi is not a bush war general with the kind of people who will claim to have fought with him in the bush while coming to power. That means everyone who works under him will not have the kind of entitlement some of the leaders in Museveni’s government have,” says Bebe Cool.
Bebe Cool says Museveni finds it hard to deal with his comrades that helped him during the war that brought him to power.
