Media personality and events host Dagy Nyce revealed he got the name from Jose Chameleon because of his good work.
Dagy Nyce, who happens to be the official emcee of Leone Island, explained he was loyal to Chameleon, and the two spent twenty-four hours together daily for over ten years.
He helped Jose Chameleon with housework and driving kids during the day, and they could later hit the nightlife together for performances.
"I was called Dagy Disco at first because I loved loud music so much, but later Chameleon named me Dagy Nyce because of my good work. I loved him so much that I took on every command he gave, and that's how I received that name," he said in an interview with a local YouTuber.
Dagy Nyce will be celebrating ten years of emceeing at Nexus Lounge Najjera on the 27th of this month.
