Genius Levy aka Allan Buyinza is a very talented Ugandan song writer and musician who sings reggae and dancehall music. He is affiliated to Leone Island Music Empire a label owned by Legendary musician Jose Chameleone who has been his mentor and inspiration since childhood. He was born on 8th August 1994, At a very tender age he lost both is mother and father. Life became so tough not until his uncle and wife by names Mr.Kawase George and Mrs Julian Kawase took him up and since then he has had a great living.

 

Genius Levy went to Standard Junior School for primary, St.Peters Sss Nsambya for O'level, Lubiri High School for A'level and currently pursuing a bachelor's degree of community psychology at Makerere University.

 

Since childhood Genius Levy loved music. His grandmother narattes that as a little kid he would sing and dance. In 2012 Genius Levy participated in Hi skool kadanke national competition and won as the best artiste thus winning a galaxy tab after perfectly miming Jose Chameleone's Valu Valu plus sharing a stage with his mentor Jose Chameleone.

 

In 2016 he started his professional career with his first track "bubble gyal ah whine rocking so much and gave him courage to push on with other songs such as mulembe mupya, Dopest gyal, Gwampunza, Kibanda Wa Ragga, Patriana among others.

 

Genius Levy has so far two music videos, bubble gyal ah whine and mulembe mupya. Genius Levy has performed on big stages such as Street Jam, Hit After Hit Concert among others. On 1st April 2017, he held his very first concert dubbed "Genius Levy Live Concert" that went on successfully. This concert was graced by Legendary musician Jose Chameleone and Pallaso at Club 5 in Makerere University. Apparently he is compiling an album of 13 songs that will be dubbed "Rise To The Top Album".
