Comedian Salvador Idringi is considered one of the best comedians in Uganda. His talent has enabled him to travel to many foreign countries and has also won awards outside the country.

He believes many more comedians can follow in his footsteps, but it has to start with them changing their mindset.
“Many of them want to dominate here and they think making it outside Uganda requires one to be able to speak English. That is not the case. You see Eddy Kenzo killing it yet he doesn’t sing in English. Our comedians should pick a leaf if they want to go mega,” he says.
Only Salvador and Anne Kansiime have managed to penetrate the outside market.
