The 6th edition of Roast and Rhyme went down this Sunday at Jahazi Pier, Munyonyo. Dubbed  the “Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam” edition, the event attracted scores of revelers who enjoyed live music as they indulged their palates on the plentiful meat supply that was being roasted throughout the day.

This edition featured the Reggae warriors, Sizza Man, Rabadaba, Henry Tigan, Bennie Gunter, Steve Keys, and Janzi band among others.

Revelers started coming in as early as 11am. Those that arrived at the venue before 1 pm got themselves free meat coupons and a 4 pack of Bell Lager. At the fete, Uganda Breweries Red Card responsible drinking ambassador, Flavia Tumusiime also celebrated her 29th birthday with some of her fans, alongside her fellow ambassadors Deedan and Denzel. The fans, who were excited to be hanging out with the media personalities, seized the moment to take “selfies” with them in all angles.

Musician Sizza Man, who took to the stage at around 7:30pm fired up the crowd with songs like kafunda, Lusama and his old time hit, “Taxi money which had the crowd sing along. He later paved way for Singer Henry Tigan who performed his hits like Abogezi, sweetwine, voom voom among others. By the time Reggae and Ragga artiste Raba Daba took to the stage at around 9PM, the crowd was already excited. Raba Saba performed his songs like  “Mukyamu”and  “Bwekiri”

The event ended at around 10pm as individuals departed at leisure.
