Early this week, music promoter Balaam Barugahare was awarded a doctorate in humanity from Zoe College of Theology, USA.
He was awarded along with Apostle Grace Lubega of Phanero Ministries, MP Balimwezo, and many others.
Although the recipients celebrated, Kenneth Omona, the Presidential press secretary has trashed the awards.
“A few years ago, I discouraged a friend from accepting being part of a crowd gowned by some University in the USA , in a ceremony in KaKampalahe last time I checked , it’s a University in the USA but most of its graduates are black !! Ph.D. bonanza in town,” he wrote.
There are suggestions online that the University is nonexistent.
