Musician Cinderella Sanyu, also known as Cindy and UMA President, has revealed she will receive 1.3 billion Ugandan shillings from Kenzo's federation.

Cindy explained that following a meeting with the UNMF's leadership, it was agreed that UMA would receive the 1.3 billion and assist in running its activities this year.

She said the money would strengthen various associations and musician groups across the country.

"The money is coming, and out of the 13 billion, UMA will receive 1.3 billion. This will aid in running activities across the country for 2024. It was agreed upon after a meeting with the UNMF leadership," she partly said.

Cindy believes the Uganda Musicians Association and Uganda National Musicians Federation can work together for common goals.

Cindy had previously criticized Eddy Kenzo for forming the federation, but she is now pleased to receive a portion of the funds allocated by it.
