Ugandan music stars Sheebah Karungi and Cindy Sanyu are set to stage concerts on the same date and venue. Sheebah announced her concert at Kololo Airstrip on September 15, 2023, and Cindy followed suit a few days later.
The two artists have been rivals for years, and many fans are speculating that they will be staging a battle at their respective concerts. However, Cindy has denied these rumors, saying that it would be unfair to stage a battle with Sheebah at this point in her career.
"She's not ready for it," Cindy said in an interview with a local television station. "The fact is she is a great artist, very entertaining, but she just needs a little more practice. Then we can have a battle that is fair, because right now if we stepped on stage with Sheebah it would be unfair."
Cindy believes that Sheebah needs to put in more work to improve her stage presence and performance skills.
"She needs to work on her vocals, her dancing, and her overall performance," Cindy said. "Once she does that, then we can have a fair battle."
Sheebah has not responded to Cindy's comments
