Musician Edirisa Musuuza, aka Eddy Kenzo, has revealed he was never a legal member of the Firebase crew.
The singer explained that he forcefully joined the music group because he was never registered as a member by its head, Bobi Wine.
He also said Bobi Wine never welcomed him into Firebase, and his stay in the Kamwokya-based music group was only related to Mike Wine.
"I was never a legal member of the Firebase crew, and actually, I was there forcefully because of Mike Wine, but I never registered as a member. Even Bobi didn't welcome me into the crew because he came to know me after the 'Yanimba' hit," he partly said.
Eddy Kenzo, however, remains grateful to Bobi Wine for providing him with the studio time to record the song that opened up routes for him.
