Musician Eddy Kenzo has explained his close relationship with President Museveni, describing them as personal friends.
Kenzo explained that he would never criticize President Museveni because the president played a pivotal role in rescuing him from Ivory Coast.
He recounted how President Museveni had arranged for a plane to pick him and other Ugandans who were stranded in the West African country during the COVID-19 pandemic.
"I can never speak ill of President Museveni because he is my personal friend. He rescued me and other Ugandans during the COVID-19 crisis; we were stranded, but he sent a plane to evacuate us," Kenzo explained in an interview with a local television station.
It is worth noting that Eddy Kenzo's rift with Bobi Wine began after the former's meeting with President Museveni shortly after being rescued from Ivory Coast.
Eddy Kenzo claimed that Bobi Wine ignored his calls and messages while they were stranded, which reportedly displeased the CEO of Big Talent.
